Okay. Here is the story of the,"splinters" on my face...
Dana, Robyn and I were sitting on their patio when Finn comes over to me and says,"Nana what is that on your face"? I say,"what do you mean?' He says,"You have splinters on your chin". It is of course, as Robyn calls them,"Hag hairs". Now, Dana gets up and leaves. Finn says,"you need to get them removed". Robyn and I are by this time in hysterics. He asks,"Why are you laughing. Whats so funny"?
I decided to pay a little more attention to my appearance.
The next morning we all went to the mall where I had my whole face waxed.

My neighbor, Judy, is a licensed electrolysis technician and has a business in a beauty salon nearby. She removed my facial hairs by zapping, free of charge. This took awhile--many sessins--but is permanent.
Frankly, it never even occurred to me, but when I had my hair done there once, she pointed out my errant hairs, so I took advantage of her offer.
After being on the anti estrogen med (for breast ca), I decided to do something about the facial hair that resulted.
I had the laser do it at a salon...took less than a minute and was only pink for an hour or so. Said to myself...should have done this years ago.
Laser only works on dark hair tho'....it won't do anything on blond hair.
You do have to go back every few months to catch the hairs in the growth cycle...then it's supposed to be permanent. I only needed about 3 zaps.
I wish my neighbor would offer to do mine.
Does it work on gray hair?
Betty I haven't laughed so hard in ages. Kids are so trueful, you have to love them for it. Leave it to a child to call them solinters. Good for you for going for the face wax. Sumb me, I didn't know they had such a thing.
