I went to the doctor and the CT scan was really weird. It shows I have ," a mass interposed in between the dome of the liver and the right hemidiaphragm, certainly a suspect in light of clinical history of colon cancer". Also, "Abnormal segmentof small bowel in the lower central abdomen with more proximal levels of distended bowel, question postoperative change versus secondary to inflammation versus infiltrative process of bowel and.. sigmoid diverticulosis".
EEK it sound s so bad. Plus he told me that my last ct scan in Feb showed I have,"bilateral compressive atelectasis"
The weird thing is the Dr. who surgery only, said it was ,"nothing to worry about". I think I will talk to Patrick Byrne who told me he would review what ever I wanted and he could also make me look like Angelina Jolie. I feel fine.

Damm, that does sound weird and scary. Most of us get a bit of diverticulosis...it's only when they get inflammed (the diverticuli or pouches) that they can be a problem.
I'd love to know what Patrick says about all that gobbeldy gook especially the mass above the liver near the diaphragm. What are you supposed to do with that information? Geez.
Boy, the words he used do sound scary--but did the doctor explain why he thinks it's nothing to worry about? Did he say to make another appointment or is there any other kind of follow-up? Will call you at 7:00 or so your time and ask more about it.
I will talk to Patrick today and send him a copy by snail mail because my copy and fax are not working.
