Today I put my apartment on Craig's list for rent for aug. & Sept. I don't know if I'll get anyone but its worth a try. I don't know if I am allowed by the owner but since I never got a lease from them I'll just do it.
Stayed home the rest of the day except for church at 4PM.

Have you done this before? Who checks out the renter?
Since you never got a lease...sounds safe to me. Sure would be nice to have some income in that hi rent area you live in....
Didn't you buy a little house when you first went out there? Maybe I'm confusing you with someone else.
I check out the renter. If I don't like them I won't rent to them. In Santa Barbara most people rent because the prices are so high. People are always changing living arrangements. Not me though. I have liked it here. I may have to move if I don't get a job when I get bac for the East.
