I will go to Carolyn and Dana's for dinner and to give my babies some little gifts .
Okay, so I got some of them at the .99 store.. So what?
I did get Finn marble game like the one I played 60 years ago with my friend Hazel.
I'll play it again tonight.
Went to the Doctor today. I still have high BP 158/90 and now he says I am"pre- diabetic" what ever that is. He wants me to go to some class. Chances are not good that I'll go. He thinks the pain in my side is gall bladder. Maybe. He ordered a bunch of tests that I may or may not have done.

I've been told I was "pre-diabetic," too, by my old doctor in Ewing. I never followed up on it, but can't remember if I was told to. Maybe I then lost some weight and the sugar went down. Think my sugar was about 120. What's yours?

I found you thru your comment on Mimi's Blog. Welcome to the blog world. It's neat to read what you are doing.
I think the tip about putting half the food in the box before you even start to eat is a great idea. I think I could live with that. It's so damm hard to lose even one pound...you go girl....TWO pounds!
I manage my own B/P...got some guidelines from MD...take a certain med (in my case Benicar 20-40 mg/day) and add HCTZ when needed. I monitor it thru the day to see what dose I need. Once it's under better control I won't take it more than once a month or so.
My husband was told he too is pre diabetic. My understanding is that it's just that the blood sugar levels are getting to the top of normal. Like Rosemary, Rich just dropped a few lbs and the level dropped.
Isn't it fun to buy those things under a dollar?
