Missed yesterday.
Today our little baby Claire was baptized. In a beautiful park overlooking the Pacific .
There were about 20 people there. The minister had gone to college with Dana. Cal. Lutheran.
He brought his wife who is a Methodist minister, and their three kids. Dana's parents and brother and their two kids and Robyn . Stephen was off to a Bachelor weekend.
There were 9 kids under 6 years old. All three of the girls were 8 mos. old. So cute.
there was some talk of my Blog. All the women around my age could not understand why anyone should have a Blog. It was funny.

I was surprised to hear you know people who wonder why you should blog. I've never run into anybody who didn't think it was a nice idea since I started mine in September of 2005. I've dipped into a lot of "personal" blogs similar to ours (there are thousands) but I don't continue reading them unless I know the person. I greatly enjoy reading of YOUR comings and goings, ideas and thooughts, and Pat R.'s, too, but I'm not interested in some stranger's trip to Des Moines and what Johnny got on his report card. Anyway, it was fun to read about the christening and--blog away and I'll be commenting!
I agree. Just do it because it's fun...it's an easy way to keep up with folks you don't see often.
I have a friend who said "why would you want to do that"...do I need a reason? It's also helpful for those emails where folks tell you nothing and then say 'what's happening with you?'. Now, you can tell them...."check my blog" for the real story.
