I am still sleepy from the colonoscopy this AM. It was very uncomfortable . He removed a large polyp and took forever to stop the bleeding. I have to be on antibiotics for 5 days. I also have a rare form of colitis that lowers the esinophilis in the blood.
Enough of my ailments, I am sounding like an old lady.
I am doing nothing the rest of the day. So good-bye

Betty, I'm concerned about this. We talked about being sedated for the procedure (which we, in the enlightened state of NJ, are), and I always was, so I didn't realize it could be "uncomfortable." Or did you mean it was uncomfortable to stop the bleeding?
Was it suspected you had a polyp? I thought this was routine. What is "esinopilis"? Does it have to be treated in some way--or is that what the antibiotic is for?
