I won't go in to the gross detail s,but I have been sick. I could not even hold my head up yesterday. Carolyn took me to Urgent Care where it took 3 hours to see the doctor and get some x- rays. I almost laid down on the floor lid the lady in LA did. Anyway the upshot is I have either, a bowel obstruction, a virus or food poison. Today I am better but still have a bad headache. Good does come out of everything-I lost 3.5 lbs. Thats more than I lost when I was operated on. Today I am laying low and having only clear liquids.
Monday I will have a CT scan.

We surely don't like to read that. What a horrible feeling.So glad you have Carolyn nearby.
I'll bet it's something you ate at the Lemon Tree. So many people get food poisoning from eating out nowadays.
It's also horrible you had to wait 3 hrs. Glad you feel a little better now.
I guess they think an adhesion from the surgery might be the culprit.....CT will rule it out. I'm betting it's the food you ate.
I know food poisoning usually starts within a few hours of eating the food, but it can start days later (I looked it up.) Hope you're better today. What did you have to eat at the Lemon Tree? It's a coincidence that I was also sick after eating at Joseph's last week--do you suppose they have the same bacteria supplier?
Betty lets hope it's a simple virus, none of the three sounds good. It could be food poisoning, how soon after you ate did the symptoms occur?
You certinly don't want to lose weight this way.
Your doing the right thing by sticking to clear liquids.
Hope it turns out to be something that can be cured with meds.
