This evening I went to the Lemon Tree Inn for dinner with three friends from Hospice. Two of them still work there and the other works for the Cancer Center. The Lemon Tree is the Motel where the kid that was killed by Jesse James Hollywood was held. The movie, "Alpha Dog " was based on the kid's being killed. We had a great time talking about when we all worked together.
Other than that I did not do much.

Oh, it's always great to go out for dinner. The Lemon Tree sounds like a nice place. There's an Olive Tree restaurant in New Egypt, but I doubt if it's as good. I hadn't heard about Jesse James Hollywood--is that a person?--or the kid that was killed.
Lemon Tree just sounds so good, doesn't it? I wonder if RBM means Olive Garden. I've been to several of them and they are OK...not great, but OK.
I was wondering about the Jesses James Hollywood too. I remember a movie Jimmy Hollywood or something, but couldnt' tell you what it was about.

Pat (but on Betty's blog), no, I didn't mean the Olive Garden (which I like a lot, incidentally, especially their wonderful salad). The Olive Tree is a small, privately-owned (by Greeks) restaurant near Joel's where you can get TWO full dinners for $16.95. It's not haute cuisine, but believe it or not, it's not bad.
The movie,"Alpha Dog" came outlast year starring Justin Timberlake. It is based on a real kid named,Markowitz who was kidnapped by a guy whose real name is, Jesse James Hollywood. I only know about it because it happened in SB and they found the body in a ditch in SB.
