I am better.
Today my friend Norma ( she the one who is always sick) and I went to,"The Club", for lunch.
the" club" is part of the Santa Barbara Golf Club, It sounds ritzy, Oh but its not! I had a cheese sandwich for $6.99. She does not drive anymore so I have to pick her up. Well, when we got back to her house she had locked herself out. It's a good thing I did not just drop her off or I think she would still be out there. I finally made a tiny cut in the screen back door and the key to the door worked. than I went to church and prayed for patience's.
So far I am still feeling fine.

Glad you are feeling better. It probably was that fish from China.
I also wondered about Lily/Bill not being mentioned as a brother (sister?) of Joe McBeth's. Assume they were estranged, but it seems silly not to mention just a factual bit of information.

Now as for your friend locking her self out of her house, this is something I have done so many times. I finally gave an extra set of keys to our next door neighbor.
A cheese sandwich for 6.99 is high in my book.
