Had to be at Carolyn's this morning at 7:30 because Carolyn had jury duty! She forgot to call to be excused. She had to go but, than they let her off. I had to take Finn to school for his last day in Kindergarten . Than I went lunch with Barbara when Carolyn called to say she had to go back to work and could I come over! This is her last week of work. Of course I went and watched them until almost 6PM. Now I am tired.
Tomorrow is Claire's birthday and I was going to do nothing when my friend Sally called. She fell into an elevator at DisneyLand a month ago and broke her right shoulder and left hand and had a concussion. She asked if I could take her shopping tomorrow as she can't drive and neither can her husband. He has some kind of eye problem. I'll take her shopping and then we will go to lunch, than I will go visit my baby Claire on her first birthday.

Incidentally, when I was called for jury duty last year, I forgot to ask to be excused (Pat was in the hospital). I got a stern letter telling me I had better contact them or--well, they were going to send the sheriff after me or something. I called and explained the situation, then went to Toms River and gave them a letter and they let me go. Actually, I've been on jury duty in Mercer County three times, and found it very interesting. I didn't really want to be excused, but as with Carolyn, my family obligations prevented my service.
Betty, I feel as Rosmary does, I'd love to serve on a jury but each time I got called I was never seated.
You must be in 7th heaven watching your Grandchildren, all you need is an excuse. LOL How many gradchildren do you have?

Last year on this date I had one grandchild. Finn. He is now 6years old.
This year I have FOUR grandchildren.
